We require a part-time, permanent on call delivery driver to work with our shipping department year round. This role would be ideal for a retiree. Hours of work would be Monday to Friday day shift but would vary from week to week based on workload.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver product to customers.
- Load / unload shipments and deliveries as required.
- General organization and maintaining of shipping area.
- Assist with production as needed.
- Other work-related tasks as assigned.
Your skills and abilities:
- 1 - 3 years of Shipping/Receiving experience an asset but not required.
- Familiar with basic use of smartphone/tablet used for routes and sign off from customers.
- Be able to operate forklifts of various sizes.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be 25 years or older with a valid G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
