Order Cancellation/Change Policy:
Purchaser expressly acknowledges that all orders are firm, and no order may be cancelled or altered, in whole or in part, by purchaser unless Demtool Inc agrees in writing. Email is considered to be acceptable as confirmation in writing. If an order is cancelled, Demtool Inc will charge a cancellation fee equivalent to 20% of the order value.
Changes include, but are not limited to, changes or revisions to technical specifications of fabricated components, changes to agreed upon delivery dates, changes to payment terms, and changes of quantities required.
For any Demtool-approved change, Demtool shall receive payment in full from the purchaser of all costs committed or incurred to the time of the change.
Any changes to an order requested by purchaser may affect or delay the delivery and the price of the goods and must be agreed to by the parties in writing.
Order Cancellation/Change procedure:
- Contact your Inside Sales Representative with the part number(s), quantity of parts, sales order number, or any other identifiable document numbers, along with the request to change or cancel.
- If requesting to change the delivery date, please include the new date you’d like to have delivered.
- If requesting to change the technical specifications of the fabricated components, please provide the new drawings.
- Inside Sales Representative will review the request with the necessary parties at Demtool and may accept, deny, or suggest alternatives to the request.
- Once agreed upon in writing by both parties, the necessary changes will be made. Email is acceptable as confirmation.
Warranty of fabricated parts:
Demtool produces parts to the drawings and specifications provided by customers.
Demtool is not responsible for the engineering, longevity, design related issues or product suitability.
Demtool products are to be free of defects in workmanship for a period of 90 days after the receipt of product.
Demtool warrants only to its customer that products sold hereunder conform to the description of the product, no other warranties expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are made by Demtool.
Demtool shall not be liable to the customer for incidental or consequential damages, including damages, direct, or indirect, arising from the use of or inability to use its products. Contact your account representative for details. Demtool’s sole obligation is limited to repairing or replacing the defective products or refunding to the Customer the amount paid for Demtool products.
Returns require a Demtool Return Authorization. All items must be returned to Demtool with freight pre-paid for our inspection. In the event of a defect in workmanship Demtool will issue a credit to the customer for all reasonable freight charges. Please contact your Inside Sales Representative for assistance.
Return Procedure:
- Please contact your Inside Sales Representative for a Return Authorization Number.
- To expedite the Return, please provide the following information:
- Part Number
- Revision Level
- Purchase Order Number
- Work Order Number
- A detailed description, photo or drawing of suspected defect.
- Arrange return to Demtool with freight pre-paid for our inspection. Please contact your Inside Sales Representative for assistance.
